Shimano SLX RD-M7000-GS 11-Speed Rear Derailleur Medium Cage

Shimano SLX RD-M7000-GS is a genuine Shimano 11-speed rear derailleur with the Shadow RD+ clutch, delivering precise, quiet shifting for mountain bike riders.

Genuine Shimano SLX, brand new in retail packaging.

Will it fit? This is an 11-speed rear derailleur in the medium cage (GS) length, 41T chain wrap capacity. It takes a cassette up to 46T on a 1x11 setup or 42T on a 2x11 setup, and pairs with Shimano DynaSys 11 mountain shifters. Fits a standard derailleur hanger or a Shimano direct mount.

Key Specifications

Technology Highlights

• ✓ Shadow RD+ clutch with an on/off switch. Raises chain tension so chain slap and dropped chains largely disappear. Switch it off to remove the wheel.
• ✓ Takes up to a 46T cassette on 1x11. A medium cage that still handles wide-range gearing, or 42T if you run a double.
• ✓ Shadow low-profile design. Tucks in close to the frame, out of the way of rocks and trailside knocks.
• ✓ Lighter shift action. Optimised slant angle and efficient pulley teeth mean around 20 percent lighter shifting effort at the lever.
• ✓ Standard hanger or direct mount. Fits either, so it suits most 11-speed mountain frames.
